How do I pay for the prints? When you check out after making your selection of prints, you are sent to PayPal to make payment. PayPal accepts credit cards, debit cards, checking or bank accounts to make payment. You are not required to register with PayPal to make payments, but they encourage it, and we do as well. The advantage in using PayPal is that it protects both the buyer and the seller and prevents fraud by either party. HorseArt never sees your credit card number or bank account information. When you make the payment, PayPal sends us an email the same day that lets us know you have paid. What is a Certificate of Authenticity?A Certificate of Authenticity is sent with every print. The Certificate establishes the print as an authentic fine-art, limited-edition print. This helps distinguish the work from posters or reproductions which some dealers would like to pass off as "prints." Extensive information on the Certificate guarantees the authenticity of the work, and also educates the buyer as to just exactly what they are spending their money on. The Certificate of Authenticity is an additional value added to the fine-art print insofar as it explains to the collector in detail the various factors which intervene in its production and edition. Click here for a detailed description of the Certificate. What is a limited edition?Every print at HorseArt is a limited edition print. 50 prints of each artwork will be printed in a single edition. This edition is a single run limited edition. Once 50 prints are made of a specific artwork, the digital file is removed from the computer and no more prints are made. Each print is signed by the artist and numbered (for instance, #8 out of 50).What is archive quality? Each print is produced on heavyweight Arches museum quality paper using permanent pigment inks rated conservatively to not fade for 100 years. For more information on archive quality papers and inks, go to Epson or Wilhelm Imaging Research. How are prints shipped?Prints are shipped via USPS (United States Postal Service) using registered first class mail, and are insured for the amount of the purchase. Shipments must be made to a regular address and not a post office box, as a signature will be required when receiving the shipment. Any shipments made outside of the United States will require an additional fee. Prints are shipped in a Kraft mailing tube or a large flat padded envelope, depending on the paper used for the print. HorseArt does not frame prints, see below for more information. For orders shipped outside of the United States, please click here for more information.Do you frame prints?HorseArt does not frame prints. The main reason for this is the difficulty in shipping frames. The possibility of damage to the frame or glass during shipment is fairly high, and a frame is expensive to ship. Additionally, the color and style of frame depends on the decor and lighting desired by the collector, as well as framing with or without mattes, etc. etc.Why does it say "Carol Hernandez" on the images? This is a protective watermark for the internet. The watermark does not appear on the actual prints.Do we have a mailing list? Do we share your email address with anyone?Yes, we do have a mailing list. If you would like to receive future mailings when the site is updated (about 4 to 6 times a year), click here. HorseArt does not share your email address with anyone! We abhor spam as much as you do! |
